Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Bill Gates and You…Besides the $50 Billion?
Well. it’s definitely not his education (he never graduated). And it’s also not some mythical “silver-spoon” he was born with (many people are born into rich families).
The difference between you and Mr. Gates are the thoughts he thinks and the thoughts you think. That’s it.
So, what’s that mean?
It means that whatever circumstance you find yourself in today is the result of your thinking.
Sometime earlier in your life, you had certain thoughts that led you to make certain decisions…Decisions that determined how your life is today.
In other words, you chose to be where you are today.
If you are 100% happy with your life right now, Wonderful! – You made some great choices along the way. But if you’re not happy with how your life is right now, it’s also due choices you made along the way.
I know how this can make me sound insensitive, but it’s the truth.
The wonderful thing about this truth though, is that you have 100% control of your thoughts. In fact, your thoughts are the ONLY thing you have 100% Control over. It’s ironic that most people never take advantage of this most powerful force in existence.
The biggest factor that will determine whether you are successful in your home business – and in anything you want to achieve – is whether or not you create a mindset that encourages you to take the daily actions and disciplines required for success.
It’s not your Company, your Product or your Comp Plan. Hack, it’s not even your Up-line Sponsor. It’s you and only you.
It’s whether or not you train yourself to think like a successful entrepreneur, and hence, become a successful entrepreneur.
“Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” ~ Napoleon Hill
Self-talk yourself into success.
Your “self-talk” determines everything. You can talk yourself into success just as easily as you can talk yourself out of it. Whatever you think about and dwell upon, you will get!
The successful person simply does the things that the unsuccessful person, takes a conscious decision NOT to do.
These self-defeating decisions are easy to miss because your mind comes out with logical reasons (hidden excuses) to justify them. And if you are not careful, you’ll let them fool you.
… Reasons like:
- I’m not ready,
- My spouse doesn’t approve,
- I’m too tired,
- I don’t have time,
- I’m too busy,
- I don’t have money,
- I’m not that well educated,
- I can’t sell.
Go through the list above yourself and see if can’t immediately find at least three convenient reasons to prove why you can’t get whatever it is you want. And then ask yourself if those are truly “real” reasons or are they really just excuses?
Here is the truth: It’s not that you can’t do something. It’s just that you really don’t want to do it. Every time you catch yourself saying that “I can’t”, immediately change it to “I won’t and see whether it still makes sense. It’s that simple, and it exposes you for the lying, lazy couch potato you are.
When it finally dawns on you, you’ll realize that you have the power to change your entire attitude about everything.
Here’s a Challenge for You…
